Fruelund returns

Denmark’s national coach Jan Pytlick nominated his squad for the final test before EURO2008, the tournament Møbelringen Cup in Norway. The experienced Katrine Fruelund from Randers HK will also return to the national team for these games.

The 30-year old Fruelund, who did not appear in the team for about a year – partly due to injury – played 173 internationals for Denmark and scored 555 goals.

“I am glad that Jan called me up again, but I’m not sure if I’m going to be used in attack or mainly in defence,” Katrine Fruelund said after the 21 names were announced.
