Slovenian coach Zvonimir Serdarušić today named the 16 players who will travel to the European Championship in Austria, and there were no big surprises.
After almost a month of preparation involving 22 players, the Slovenian coach finally trimmed the squad down to the 16 players who will travel to Innsbruck on Monday. The players who will remain at home are: Dušan Podpečan, Matjaž Mlakar, Boštjan Kavaš, Nenad Bilbija, Klemen Cehte, and Nejc Poklar.
Serdarušić is taking three right wingers and three playmakers to Austria.

Goalkeeper: Gorazd Ř kof (Zagreb), Aljoša Rezar (Celje Pivovarna Laško);
Left wing: Luka Žvižej (Pick Szeged), Jure Dobelšek (Cimos Koper);
Right wing: Vid Kavtičnik (Montpellier), Matjaž Brumen (Cimos Koper), Dragan Gajič (Zagreb);
Pivot: Zoran Lubej (Zagreb),Miha Žvižej (Gorenje);
Left back: Aleš Pajovič, Miladin Kozlina (both Celje Pivovarna Laško);
