Radu Voina, coach Romania: Congratulations to my team for the extraordinary fight we demonstrated to win the Bronze medal. The low final score says everything. Such a score reminds us of many years ago but not of today´s handball. We have had a strong defence so respect to all my players for this result.

Aurelia Bradeanu, player Romania: I am very glad about the victory, it was not easy to recover from yesterday´s lost semi-final, but we managed it and won.

Talida Tolnai, player Romania: Congratulations to Denmark for a great fight and a fantastic game. Today God gave us lots of power to be the better team and to win this match, a game to secure a medal. Thanks for everyone at home and here in Denmark who kept their fingers crossed for us. I want to thank to my coach who tells us what is good and what not on court. Today it was victory day for Romania.
