The biggest men’s national team event of 2010 is coming up in Austria from 19-31 January. The 13 days of the competition will not only be remarkable from a sporting point of view, it will also be a big occasion for handball and sports professionals to meet in the heart of Europe.

Sport Medical Conference

On 23 January 2010, the Austrian Handball Federation, ÖHB, will organise a Sport Medical Conference in Innsbruck. The target groups of the event are doctors, coaches, athletes, PE teachers, physiotherapists and sports scientists.

EHF Top Coaches’ Seminar

The 2010 EHF Top Coaches’ Seminar will take place in Vienna, Austria, from Sunday 24 January 2010 to Wednesday 27 January 2010. The deadline for registration is 30 November 2009. For more information, click here.

Legal Seminar

The legal aspects of top sports will be addressed at the Legal Seminar on 28 January 2010 in Vienna. Marketing and TV rights questions, national team participation of players will be on the agenda among other subjects.

Professional Handball Management

Another conference will take place in Vienna on the same day, 28 January. This will concern professional areas of handball sport such as marketing structures and sponsorship.
