Built in 1999 Aalborg Gigantium is a gigantic multi-sports complex covering 25.000 square metres with two ice-rinks, four handbal courts and lots of facilities for meetings and social events.
The idea behind this complex is, that with mobile telescopic terraces for spectators, the interior of the main hall is as flexible as it gets - thus giving the opportunity for as many local sports clubs as possible to use the facilities when big events are not on.
But when handball and ice-hockey is played at the Gigantium few other venues offer so much enthusiastic atmosphere as this multi-arena in the fourth biggest town in Denmark.
